Been considering silver plating by liquid solution on glass for a few years. Mindful that it always tarnishes, I'm thinking about how to seal it without using typical mirror primer. I need something clear. I'm going to try my usual adhesive first; however, it has a vinegar smell. It's been years since I've worked with silver patinas and can't remember how mild acids react with it. I don't think the adhesive contains any sulfers.
I'm thinking of plating on the concave side of the chargers--the bead mosaics will be on the convex side. Inspired by the design of a tiny compact makeup compact cover by Line Vautrin:
[link]I have four or five chargers. They'll each have a different color. They will be wall pieces. I haven't figured out what hardware to use for hanging yet.
